As we continue our transformation from a traditional telecommunications operator into a leading provider of integrated Connectivity, Cloud, Cybersecurity, and Managed Services, we are looking for an experienced Director – Network & Service Operations to lead the evolution of our operational capabilities.
Your Mission
The role is accountable for transforming the organization from a traditional telecom operator-based delivery model into an integrated, customer-centric operating model focused on operational excellence, service quality, and continuous improvement.
As a member of the leadership team you will provide strategic and operational direction of best-in-class Service Delivery, Service Assurance, Network infrastructure and security, along with the supporting IT platforms you will ensure the effective integration of people, processes, and technology to deliver reliable, secure, scalable and customer-centric high-quality services, while driving operational transformation.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Strategy
- Define and execute the strategy for networking Network Service Delivery, Service Assurance and Infrastructure Operations.
- Lead and develop managers across the functions within the area of responsibility.
- Ensure operational objectives are aligned with the company's business strategy.
- Drive technology transformation initiatives and operational optimization programs.
- Build and foster cross-functional collaboration across Networking, IT, and Business teams.
Service Delivery & Operations
- Own end-to-end delivery lifecycle of networking services, from solution assessment and design through implementation and after-sales operational support.
- Ensure service excellence through Service Level Agreements (SLAs), Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and quality standards.
- Drive operational performance, service quality and customer satisfaction.
- Lead the management of major incidents, escalations and service restoration activities.
- Preserve and foster a culture of proactive operations and continuous improvement.
Telecom Network Infrastructure
Provide strategic and operational leadership for the following domains:
- Telecom Network Delivery (Assessment, Design & Implementation, Support)
- IP & Backbone Network
- Network Security
- Data Center Infrastructure
- Network Operations Center (NOC)
Ensure seamless operational integration across all technology domains to support end-to-end service delivery.
Ensure high availability, capacity planning, lifecycle management, and operational readiness.
IT Infrastructure Integration
- Lead the integration of telecom network Infrastructure with Enterprise IT Infrastructure.
- Collaborate with Cloud, Platforms, Systems teams to design and implement integrated technology solutions.
- Work closely with Cyber Security teams to ensure resilient, secure and compliant operations.
- Drive automation and digitalization of operational processes, and operational efficiency across infrastructure operations.
- Contribute to the definition and evolution of technical architectures for new services and platforms.
Governance & Performance
- Establish performance metrics and governance frameworks across all managed functions.
- Monitor operational capacity and resource planning.
- Identify and mitigate operational risks.
- Ensure compliance with corporate security policies, regulatory requirements, and business continuity standards.
Financial Management
- Develop and manage the department's operational and capital budgets.
- Monitor operational expenditures and identify cost optimization opportunities.
- Manage strategic technology partners and key operational vendors.
- Lead infrastructure investment planning and technology roadmap execution.
People Management
- Lead, coach, and develop multidisciplinary technical teams.
- Define performance objectives and monitor achievement.
- Support leadership development and technical capability building.
- Build a high-performance culture of accountability, collaboration, and customer success.

This is not a traditional Network Operations role. We are looking for a business leader who can operate carrier-grade networks while accelerating our transformation into an integrated Connectivity, Cloud, Cybersecurity and Managed Services provider.
Technical Competencies
- Strong knowledge of Telecom and IP infrastructures.
- Solid of Enterprise IT architecture.
- Knowledge of Network and Infrastructure Security principles.
- Experience with Data Center operations and Network Operations.
- Following competencies are considered an advantage:
- Understanding Virtualization, Cloud technologies, and Automation.
- Experience with ISO 27001, NIS2, or other operational and security compliance frameworks.
- Experience in an ICT service provider, telecommunications operator, or managed services environment.
- Knowledge of automation and AI-assisted operations (AIOps).

Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications, Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, Automation, or a related technology discipline.
- 10+ years of experience in telecommunications, managed services, or ICT infrastructure.
- Minimum 5 years of leadership experience managing technical organizations.
- Proven experience leading multidisciplinary technical teams.
- Demonstrated experience managing mission-critical infrastructure and high-availability services.
- Strong stakeholder management and executive communication skills.
- A continuous improvement mindset with a passion for customer excellence.
- Experience leading organizational transformation and operational excellence initiatives.
