Data Center Technician
How would it be like to work as a Data Center Technician with us?
You will provide technical support to customers who have equipment located in our Data Centers from Bucharest and Cluj-Napoca. You will work in shifts. (It is important for you to know that our working program is a flexible one and that we are always going to help you if you need it).
You will monitor and investigate the incidents and malfunctions that may occur during the functioning of the equipment located in the Data Center. You will work together with the customers’ technical teams, in order to ensure the functionality of that equipment.
You will be responsible for the installation, service and maintenance of the GTS equipment and of the customers’ equipment located in the Data Center.
You will proactively monitor, with the support of dedicated systems, the infrastructure elements that ensure the continuity of Data Center services, and you will quickly get involved in the maintenance and troubleshooting process.
You and the whole team will be kept up to date with lots of technologies: our training program is an extended one!
How do we picture you?
You are willing to work in shifts.
You are a graduate or a student at a technical university.
You have experience in IT infrastructure maintenance, and you have good knowledge about the equipment we use: Cisco, Juniper, Huawei, Alcatel.
You understand how electrical systems work and you can troubleshoot single-phase and three-phase electrical systems.
Even if these are not mandatory conditions, we would like you to:
- have previous experience in another Data Center;
- know how HVAC systems and specific power supply systems (UPS, generators, electrical panels) work, and to be able to troubleshoot them.
Last but not least, you are fluent in English :)
