GTS Telecom (GTS), one of the leading alternative telecom providers in Romania, part of GTS Central Europe, announces solid financial results for 2011.
· Revenue of €23.5 million, at a similar level to the one reported in 2010
· Earnings before taxes, interest, depreciation and amortization (EBITDA) of €4.6 million
„Despite an unfavorable economic environment against Romania and the CEE region, GTS Telecom revenues remained stable at over €23 million, similar to 2010. Our focus on customer support, investments in expanding and optimizing our network and the expansion of our service offerings formed the basis for our solid financial results” said Michael Rees, who was appointed Managing Director of GTS Telecom on November 1st, 2011.
GTS is well known for its high quality of services, addressing the needs of small-medium enterprises to large corporations and the public sector. In 2012, GTS will continue to develop its service portfolio to keep the company on the leading edge of development in the region. After launching Virtual Servers in 2011, GTS will continue to expand its datacenter managed service offerings, launch new voice packages and leverage new access technologies such as Ethernet.
Furthermore, our customer support efforts will continue to concentrate on improving response time and all the parameters that contribute to maintaining a high level of service availability, one of the key focus areas in GTS.
