Which operating systems can I install on my GTS VPS?
You can install any of the 9 available systems: AlmaLinux, Alpine Linux, CentOS, Debian, Fedora, openSUSE, Rocky Linux, Ubuntu and Windows Server. The list may expand over time.
Yes, you can reinstall the OS at any time directly from the VM management panel. Note: reinstalling will erase all data on the server — make sure to back up anything important beforehand.
On average, reinstalling an OS takes between 3 and 5 minutes depending on the image size. The process is fully automated.
Yes. Windows Server VPS plans include the license in the plan price — there are no hidden costs or separate purchases required.
For web servers we recommend Ubuntu LTS or Debian — both are stable, widely supported and work great with LAMP/LEMP stacks. They can also be easily upgraded in-place to the next LTS version when published. AlmaLinux or Rocky Linux are ideal for enterprise environments.
