How would it be like to work as a Data Center & Field Engineer with us?

You will provide technical support to GTS customers for equipment hosted in DataCenter, in shifts according to the established schedule and internal procedures;

You will monitor and investigate incidents and malfunctions that occur at the client location or GTS sites;

Proactively monitor and investigate incidents/dysfunctions occurring on equipment co-located in DataCenter;

You are capable to perform specific activities and installation, service and maintenance for GTS equipment and customers equipment co-located in DataCenter;

Communication with customers technical staff, in order to troubleshoot and maintain the functionality of the equipment co-located in DataCenter;

You will ensure the functionality of DataCenter asset monitoring systems through specific maintenance and troubleshooting methods.

You understand how they work and can troubleshoot single-phase and three-phase electrical systems:
You know how an OTDR or a Power meter works;

A mandatory condition is to have a category B driver's license;

You and the whole team will be kept up to date with lots of technologies: our training program is an extended one!

How do we picture you?

You are available to work either between 09:00-18:00, from Monday to Friday and on call following a later established schedule. (It is important to know that we are flexible in terms of the schedule and are always open to find solutions if you need them).

You have hardware troubleshooting experience.

You own specific knowledge of equipment used by GTS: Cisco, Juniper, Huawei, Alcatel.

You have technical knowledge and you like to put your passion and engineering knowledge to work in the service of your own objectives and those of your team.

You are a motivated person. You can quickly understand the problem you are facing, and so you always manage to find solutions in time.

You have either the experience or passion (or both…) for working with customers. You are sociable, you are a good listener and you like to communicate.

You are a curious person. You have the ability and desire to learn and work with new technologies.

You enjoy finding solutions even when you have to resort to creativity. You feel comfortable taking control of situations, when you feel the success of the team depends on it.

Last but not least, you are fluent in English :)
