GTS Telecom
GTS Telecom operates an external connection of 100Gbit/sec, more than 50% of this capacity representing contracts with guaranteed bandwidth to customers. The external link, ensuring the interconnection with the GTS Central Europe infrastructure, is implemented on own fiber-optic cross-border circuits in Oradea point of presence (PoP) and DataCenter, with backup connection in Arad point of presence (PoP). GTS Telecom operates a MPLS national network of 72.5Gbit/sec with 21 PoPs opened big cities like Arad, Bucuresti, Bacau, Brasov, Cluj, Craiova, Constanta, Deva, Focsani, Galati, Iasi, Oradea, Ploiesti, Pitesti, Piatra Neamt, Sibiu, Targoviste, Timisoara, Targu-Mures.
The 'ring' topology of the network offers 100% redundancy in any PoP, ensuring high levels of service accessibility and minimum round trip times for all services implemented by the company. Bucharest GTS Telecom operates the metropolitan MPLS fiber-optic of little less than 200km with a 70Gbit/sec capacity and the radio 5.8GHz network ensuring the complete coverage of the city.
